Unfortunately, Tipbet is no longer ranking as one of our top brands.

However, if you would still like to take advantage of a generous free bet deal, check out Betway‘s welcome offer here.

Welcome to your Tipbet esports review where we will pay special attention to how this betting site treats esports. If you are looking for where to bet on Overwatch, or any other esports title, then you should read our special Tipbet betting review to see what kinds of odds this bookie delivers for the popular first-person shooter.

Tipbet is a Malta-based sportsbook who have been catering to the needs of sports betting fans since 1995. As well as their popular Tipbet tips area and their successful casino gaming section, the brand have also started giving gamers a safe way to make esports bets on titles such as League of Legends, Dota 2 and Counter-Strike: Global Offensive.

But as Overwatch is one of the biggest games to have hit the esports world in years, we are going to carry out an intensive Tipbet Overwatch betting review. This will look at what kinds of betting markets the betting site has for the Blizzard Entertainment game, and it will also take into account important factors such as payment methods, betting limits and licensing.

  • Respectable betting site
  • Fully licensed and regulated
  • Profitable welcome bonus
  • High betting limits

100% welcome bonus to start Tipbet esports betting

Tipbet are clearly keen to encourage esports fans to sign up to their betting service. This is because the bookmaker have put on a welcome offer that can give you a 100% matched deposit bonus.

This means that you can get a 100% matched deposit bonus of anything up to €100 by making a qualifying initial deposit of at least €10. In order to be able to withdraw your bonus winnings, then you will need to turn over your first deposit and bonus amount at least five times by making bets on esports with odds of 1.50. There doesn’t appear to be a time limit on these play-through requirements.

Whilst these wagering conditions mean that you have to bet a significant amount of times to make the most of your welcome bonus, it’s clear that this promotion has the potential to help you make some decent winnings with your first few esports bets with the brand.

Esports markets: no Overwatch tournaments found in our Tipbet esports review

No Tipbet Overwatch betting review would be complete without a detailed look at the kinds of betting markets that the brand offers for the first-person shooter. Sadly it looks like Tipbet might be lagging behind when it comes to offering punters any odds for Overwatch as there was no evidence for bets on this game when we carried out this review.

Whilst Tipbet does offer a good selection of betting markets for other classic esports like LoL, CSGO, Dota 2 and StarCraft II, it seems that they have yet to include any Overwatch odds on their site.

This might be just due to the fact that there weren’t any Overwatch matches in progress when we carried out the review, but we hope that Tipbet make moves to include some betting markets for this increasingly popular game soon.

Get help at Tipbet with Live chat and email

If you want to query Tipbet about their lack of Overwatch odds, or just need help in setting up your account, then you have a few easy ways to get in contact with the brand. The simplest method is to just use the live chat that automatically appears on the site’s homepage.

However, there are also options for using a dedicated customer service email form, or even joining the brand’s WhatsApp service. Whilst the lack of telephone hotline might be off-putting, there’s a good selection of customer service options here.

We should also point out the fact that Tipbet also have a handy FAQ section that can assist with some of the more basic queries regarding your account, deposits and withdrawals.

Good choice of payment types available

As Tipbet are a reliable and highly regarded sportsbook, it’s no surprise to find that they have given you plenty of safe real money payment methods for making your deposits and withdrawals.

Alongside credit and debit cards like MasterCard, Maestro and Visa, you also get to choose from e-wallets like Skrill and Neteller, as well as pre-paid cards such as Paysafecard. Other options include the likes of Sofort and ecoPayz, and whilst this isn’t the largest selection of betting payment methods that we’ve seen, they are all highly trustworthy.

Tipbet won’t charge you for making deposits and withdrawals, but you need to make a minimum deposit of €10 with all deposit methods, except for Paysafecard where you can deposit with just €1. There’s a minimum withdrawal of €10 at Tipbet unless you choose bank transfer which has a €25 minimum threshold. E-wallet users enjoy instant withdrawals, whilst it should take just over three days for Visa, MasterCard and bank transfers.

Licensed by MGA for safe Tipbet esports betting

Online safety matters more than ever and it’s good to find that Tipbet have given you a secure place to enjoy some esports betting. The betting site is licensed and regulated by the Malta Gaming Authority who are an institution that aims to ensure that all bookmakers with an MGA license carry out a fair and safe online betting service.

Tipbet have also formed an association with Early Warning System GmbH who aim to take on the troubling issue of match fixing. The brand’s signing up procedure is rigorous to ensure that only those of legal age get to use their gambling services.

In addition to this, the site also allow you to set your own betting limits so that you gamble responsibly. And with SSL level encryption on their website, it means that Tipbet have given you an ultra safe esports betting environment.

How’s the Esports odds at Tipbet?

We’ve already indicated that Tipbet appear to have a lack of betting markets for Overwatch, and therefore we aren’t going to be able to compare their Overwatch odds with the other best Overwatch betting sites.

But when we look at the Tipbet odds for other esports like Counter-Strike: Global Offensive, League of Legends and Dota 2, it’s evident that the brand are keen to compete with some of the larger sportsbooks.

Hopefully Tipbet will carry their reputation for competitive odds over to Overwatch when they start to feature the game. But for now we are just going to have to hope that Tipbet will soon realise how much demand there is for odds for this hugely popular first person shooter.

Get the Tipbet login and enjoy the user-friendly site

Despite the lack of Overwatch odds, it’s evident that Tipbet’s website is sure to be a big hit with esports fans, sports enthusiasts and casino gamers. The stylish site is easy to navigate so that you can switch between sports bets, in-play bets, esports odds and casino games via the handy navigation bar.

Tipbet have included a useful way to switch the aesthetic themes of the site from light to dark in order to read the sometimes small text a little better. And whether you are using live chat or are adding money to your account, then everything can be accessed in a minimum of clicks.

There’s also a great Tipbet app for Android and iOS devices that includes well over 100,000 events to bet on each month. So that whether you are using a smartphone, tablet or laptop, then you can enjoy all of the great features of the Tipbet betting service.

In-play bets available for restricted titles

Not only was there a lack of pre-match Overwatch bets when we carried out this review, but there was also no evidence of Overwatch odds in the live betting area. This is a shame as we can all agree that the fast-paced action of Overwatch is perfectly suited to live betting.

We took a quick look at some of the other esports that you could take in-play bets on at Tipbet. A standard game of Counter-Strike: Global Offensive looked like it had a good selection of in-play odds with some interesting betting markets that included bets on first blood, first pistol round and second pistol round.

Unfortunately it looks like Tipbet doesn’t have any live streaming features at their site just yet, but the live esports betting area does allow you to see the live score along with information about which map the competing teams are currently on.

High limits for your esports betting

Nearly all betting sites will put a limit on how much you can win with a single bet, and our review found that Tipbet allow you to win up to €25,000 for each individual bet. This is a fairly high betting ceiling and it shows that you could win some significant sums with your esports bets.

The most that you can withdraw within a single week is €100,000 and you can only withdraw €25,000 on a single day. The minimum that you can bet with at Tipbet is €1, and you can stake up to €500 per betting ticket.

All of which shows that Tipbet have given us a good amount of flexibility in choosing how much we bet and win, and it’s certainly willing to help punters get a bigger payout than some other betting sites.

Check out the Tipbet casino and sportsbook

Alongside the esports betting options, you’ll also get chance to bet on a huge range of traditional sports at the Tipbet site. The brand seem to put a lot of emphasis on their football betting options, but there’s also plenty of great odds for other sports such as tennis, basketball, and ice hockey, although there are no horse racing bets here.

There’s plenty to enjoy in terms of casino gaming too. By clicking on the casino tab, you’ll gain access to a massive amount of video and classic slots games, and we were impressed by the live casino gaming options that included games such as Immersive Roulette, Casino Hold’em and Baccarat Squeeze.

Final verdict in our Tipbet esports review

It’s a shame that Tipbet appeared to have a complete lack of Overwatch odds on their site, as everything else about the bookmaker’s betting service seemed to be positive. With a strong welcome bonus, official licensing and high betting limits, it’s clear that Tipbet are going places. But until they include odds for Overwatch, we cannot recommend Tipbet as a site for betting on the excellent first person shooter.
